Speaker’s Biography: Engr. Md Rabiul Hasnat is a business entrepreneur. He completed his SSC and HSC from Dhaka Government Muslim High School and Dhaka College, Dhaka. He completed his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET).
He did his post graduate Diploma in “Entrepreneurship Essentials” from Harvard Business School (HBS) in 2021. He completed his Diploma in “Practical Decision Making using Data Science” from National University of Singapore (NUS) in 2023.
Engr. Md Rabiul Hasnat is the Founder Owner of Rosh - SCL Group. He is the Managing Director of Standard Construction Ltd (SCL), Rosh Ltd, Shorr Singapore Pte Ltd, Soil Testing & Design Consultant (STADCO), Shorr Nobo Projukti Dugdha Khamar (SNPDK) and Shorr Food & Bakery Ltd (SFBL), etc.
He was Ex Board Member (Director) of Dhaka Electric Supply Company (DESCO) and Real Estate Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB).
He is a member of Singapore Business Federation, Harvard Business School Alumni, BUET Alumni, BUET Graduate Club, Kurmitola Golf Club and Bangladesh Agro & Sweet Manufacturing Association.
Engr. Md Rabiul Hasnat has wide experience in Consultancy & Construction of Mega Projects, Real Estate Sector, International Trading, Engineering and Food Business.
He was the Jury Board member of International Building & Design competitions organized by Institute of Architects of Bangladesh (IAB) & projects funded by Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA), Conveyor of Negotiation Committee with BRTC of BUET, Head of Supervisory Team in Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) and Audit Committee, Technical Committee of the Mega Projects funded by International Financial Organizations.
He also plays a important role in review of Foreign Aided Projects funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Asian Infrastructures Investment Bank (AIIB), Japan International Corporation Agency (JICA).
Engr. Hasnat is experienced in Government, Corporate and National Event Management like Victory Day, Independent Day, Armed Forces Day in Bangabhaban, Army Headquarter, Navy Headquarter & Air Headquarter, BUET, Dhaka University, North South University, Grameen Phone, etc.
Moreover, he himself creating the Export market in Abroad and already export the Delicious Sweets to Many countries with own brand “Rosh” and earn a lot of Foreign currency for our loving country, Bangladesh.
He Participated in Harvard Business School CONNEXT – 2022 and 2023 in Harvard University and Deliver his entrepreneur opinions to all world business leader and create the opportunity to Export our Products to rest of the world.
Due to his huge contribution to the National Economy, Engr. Hasnat was awarded as a “Diary Icon – 2023” by World Bank and the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock of Bangladesh.
